If you're looking for a good summertime cocktail, you're in the right spot. I know a thing or two about making good peach cobbler and it doesn't require creamy mixers so neither does this drink! My peach cobbler cocktail is sweet, strong, and tastes like juicy summer peaches with a hint of spice.

❤️ Why You'll Love this Recipe
Quick & Easy - This bourbon peach cobbler cocktail recipe is beginner friendly and comes together quick, fast, and in a hurry, aka, about five minutes!
Perfect Peach Cobbler Flavor - You'll taste ripe peaches sweetened with brown sugar as well as hints of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and even vanilla. When I said peach cobbler vibes, I meant it.
As a proper southern woman, I have plenty of peachy keen treats for you to try: my family's peach cobbler, glazed peach cobbler pound cake, cast iron peach cobbler with bourbon, and southern Georgia peach sweet tea!
What You'll Need for this Recipe

Peach Cobbler Syrup is truly what makes this cocktail live up to its name. I highly recommend using my homemade peach cobbler syrup for the very best results. That's the only way to get the orange peach color and good flavor.
I use the same syrup in all my peach cocktails: peach martini with gin, peach julep, and, of course, the peach cobbler old fashioned!
Bourbon Whiskey is the spirit of choice because southern but you can actually use any expression of whiskey. This drink can also work with other liquors such as vodka but I recommend sticking with bourbon because it lends vanilla, oaky, and even buttery flavor notes to the equation.
Crushed Ice makes for the best presentation because it nicely supports the peach and mint accents. Pro Tip: If you don't have a crushed or pebbled ice maker, grab a cup of ice from Sonic. Theirs is perfect!

Substitutions & Variations
Lemon Juice - I prefer to use fresh lemon juice in this peach cobbler drink recipe but you can also use bottled lemon juice from concentrate and it will still taste great. Orange juice is another zesty option.
Fresh Peach and Mint - These garnishes add extra razzle dazzle but are totally optional so don't feel like you can't enjoy this drink without them.
How to Make a Peach Cobbler Cocktail

Step One: Lay a fresh peach slice on one side of a rocks glass then pack the glass with ice.

Step Two: Pour all the liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Pro Tip #1: Lay the glass on its side to make keeping the peach in place easier. Once it's about two thirds full of ice, you can stand it up.
Pro Tip #2: Place the glass in the freezer or fridge while you mix up the drink.

Step Three: Cover and shake the cocktail shaker until chilled to the touch then strain into glass.

Step Four: Garnish with fresh mint, if desired.

How to Serve
Serve this homemade libation cold over lots of ice--preferably crushed, cobbled, or pebble ice. Although peach cobbler is warm, this cocktail tastes best chilled.
The peach and mint leaf garnishes give the aesthetic of a fresh peach picked from the tree and I love serving in geometric rocks glasses. The gold rim just adds a nice touch.

I absolutely LOVE peach cobbler, so I was excited to try out this cocktail recipe. That ginger liqueur added a beautiful zing to the cocktail. Perfectly balanced and so unique.

Thanks, Marta! I feel like ginger liqueur is underrated so I try to use it whenever it makes sense.
