I started Dash of Jazz® in 2015 to share my easy recipes with friends spread across the country. Since then, I’ve realized I have a lot more to say and this site has become a lifestyle resource for women all over the world seeking balance.
Because my time is limited, I only want to spend it on what truly matters to me. If you can relate, you’re in the right place!
For about 40 hours a week, I’m a top notch Human Resources professional, specializing in Diversity & Inclusion. In all the hours outside of that, I’m pursuing my passions (faith, family, travel, and wellness) and pouring into this creative space.
Balance is key because I wear so many hats. And I’m committed to sharing the habits, experiences, and products that help me do everything I love, with you.

Recipes I'm loving right now

Since launching Dash of Jazz, I’ve purchased a house in my hometown, embarked on a fitness journey, traveled extensively, and climbed a few rungs of the corporate ladder, and elevated my blog into a digital business--all while cooking and enjoying lots of delicious food!
So whether you are balancing planning a dinner party with preparing for a performance review, wanting to use your PTO to see more of the world, or turning a house into a home, I can help you make the most of your time.
Simply put, this space is dedicated to women who want to cook well, travel well, and live well.

Jazzmine is a proud native Houstonian from a large Nigerian-American family and is a passionate Diversity & Inclusion professional by day. Jazzmine resides in the historic Third Ward neighborhood of Houston, Texas, with her miniature dachshund, JoJo, and travels as often as she can. She’s a proud aunty and a big fan of Beyonce, good whiskey, and fresh flowers.
