❤️ Why You'll Love this Recipe
Just Three Ingredients - And endless possibilities for customization with your choice of spirits, sparkling wine, and liqueur. Because there are no non-alcoholic mixers, I like to call it the "three lit" cocktail!
Quick & Easy - This seemingly fancy champagne cocktail with chambord has layers of flavor but is as easy to make as one, two three.
Potent - Whiskey is typically thought of a man's drink but please don't shy away from this one, ladies. It's delicious and somewhat sneaky so enjoy responsibly!
We love sparkling cocktail recipes around here, including my pink mimosas, pomegranate champagne cocktail, ginger bellini punch, and cherry rosé spritzer.
What You'll Need for this Recipe

Champagne for bubbles and a crisp finish--make sure it's chilled! And if you don't have access to champagne, other sparkling wines like cava or prosseco will also work.
Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur with notes of luscious berries and smooth vanilla. I prefer using chambord but you could also use another raspberry or blackberry liqueur.
Whiskey is the boozy backbone of this recipe. Use a high quality whiskey, bourbon or scotch that you would enjoy sipping neat.

Substitutions & Variations
Liqueur - You can get creative with different flavored liqueurs like ginger, orange, blackcurrant, and more.
Garnishes - I like to float fresh or frozen raspberries in these cocktails for a lil razzle dazzle. Feel free to add garnishes of your choosing, including citrus twists, sparkling sugar rims, and edible glitter!
How to Make a Champagne Whiskey Cocktail

Step One: Add whiskey to each champagne glass.

Step Two: Add in Chambord black raspberry liqueur to champagne glasses.
Pro Tip #1: Use a jigger to measure out the liquids or a standard shot glass, which has the same volume as the large side of a jigger.

Step: Top up with champagne!
Pro Tip #2: To make sure you have consistent tasting cocktail from first sip to last, give it a gentle stir with a bar spoon or a butter knife.

Frequently Asked Questions
Whiskey and fruit flavored liqueurs pair perfectly with champagne. So do gin and tequila.
I don't recommend making these cocktails ahead of time because the champagne will fall flat.
To serve a crowd, you can make champagne whiskey pitcher cocktails by combining one bottle of champagne, 1 ½ cup whiskey, and one cup chambord. Serves eight.

This made our New Year's Eve celebration so "lively." LOL! I'm not a fan of whiskey, but my hubby is. Champagne and Chambord are my favorites, so I figured this cocktail was meant for us. We enjoyed it so much, we made it again for brunch the next day.
Marco says
I tried this drink out for fun and really enjoyed it. I swapped out your whiskey for another i had at home as well as a different champange but the result was delicious. A bit on the strong and sweet side for some, simply cut the ratio of chambord and whiskey and top up with more champangne. This is a wonderful drink for special occasions or and could even be paired well with desserts.
Jazz says
Glad you enjoyed, Marco. Cheers!
