❤️ Why You'll Love this Recipe
Quick and Easy - You only need a few minutes to prep this non-alcoholic sangria drink, then just let it chill in the fridge until you're ready to serve it. There are seven ingredients, and you probably have them in your kitchen already!
True Sangria Taste - The flavor profile of this mock sangria drink recipe is modeled after a classic red sangria with deep notes of red fruits and juicy grapes, some tartness, and an aromatic, herbal touch. It's fruity, bright, and sweet but not too sweet, with a subtle hint of spice and acidity.

What You'll Need for this Recipe
Concord Grape Juice has a bold, sweet, fruity flavor that works well in this recipe. You can use fresh juice or from concentrate--whichever is easiest for you to find. This ingredient mimics both the wine and brandy used in a traditional sangria recipe.
Pomegranate Juice mellows out the sweetness of the grape juice with tartness and a tannic finish that you'd typically get from red wine. If you can't make it with pomegranate juice, 100% cranberry juice with no added sugar (not the Ocean Spray cocktail) is a close substitute.
Green Tea adds fresh herbal, floral, and earthy notes that balance out the flavor profile with some complexity.

Substitutions & Variations
Fruits - I use tart Granny Smith apples and Navel oranges in this drink, per the classic recipe, but you can switch it up with other apple varieties and different kinds of citrus. You can also add fresh grapes, pomegranate arils--whatever you like!
Bubbles - This recipe is finished with a splash of ginger beer, but that doesn't add a lot of effervescence. If you want a truly sparkling sangria mocktail recipe, you can add more ginger beer or float some sparkling grape juice just before serving.
How to Make a Mocktail de Sangria
- Step One: Dice the apple into bite-sized cubes and slice the orange into half moons.
- Step Two: Add the fruit to a pitcher and muddle.
- Step Three: Stir in the remaining ingredients, except for the ginger beer, then transfer to the fridge to chill.
- Step Four: Add a splash of ginger beer and serve.
Pro Tip #1
This zero alcohol red sangria gets better the longer you let it sit. It will taste good and be fully chilled after about two hours, but even better if you can let it chill overnight!

Frequently Asked Questions
These drinks will keep for up to five days in the fridge. I recommend sealing the pitcher to help keep the fruit from becoming mushy and prevent other fridge flavors from leaching into the drink.
How to Serve
Serve your sangria punch mocktail cold with scoops of fruit! I like to leave a spoon in the pitcher so everyone can add as much as they like. If you want more bubbly fun, pour an extra shot of ginger beer into each glass.
This is a refreshing drink for warm summer gatherings, but also festive enough for autumn potlucks, holiday meals like Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinner, and even Christmas dinner parties. You can add sprigs of fresh rosemary to make it look more like a seasonal sangria Christmas mocktail.
My favorite time to serve it is at a regular weeknight family dinner. This punch makes mealtime extra special without much effort, and everybody can enjoy--even the kids!
