❤️ Why You'll Love this Recipe
Quick & Easy - This simple Hennessy punch recipe only takes five minutes to make and is absolutely beginner friendly. Just slice, pour, mix, and serve! No fancy equipment or technique needed.
Boozy Tropical Flavor - With four kinds of liquor and liqueur this is a grown & sexy punch and not the henny hunch punch you might have drank in your younger years. With spiced hibiscus, ginger, and citrus notes, it's smooth, sophisticated, and sweet plus another important "s" word: sneaky! Each cup has about 2 ¼ ounces of alcohol but you might not taste it so don't say I didn't warn you.
As the resident hostess with the mostest in my circle, I have lots of big batch options for you! Get into my holiday milk punch, tropical sherbet punch, hibiscus punch, lychee iced tea, and ginger beer lemonade next.
What You'll Need for this Recipe

Hennessy Cognac, of course. You can use regular ol' Henny, V.S.O.P. or Hennessy Pure White as they each play well with the present flavors.
Grand Marnier and Ginger Liqueur make this Hennessy punch drink more spirited and add subtle orange and ginger flavor notes for a truly delightful fruit punch feel.
Hibiscus Grenadine is a key ingredient in the original Hennessy sunset punch recipe for the beautiful color it creates. I recommend using my scratch-made hibiscus syrup for the very best flavor!
Orange Bitters balance out the taste. Think of bitters as the drink seasoning--it's not quite right without it.

Substitutions & Variations
Citrus Fruits - This Hennessy party punch calls for grapefruit, lemon, and lime slices but feel free to mix and match any combination you like. You can also freeze the citrus slices for extra chill factor in your finished drinks.
Sparkling Water adds effervescence but you can use club soda or mineral water instead or still water if you don't want a bubbly punch.
Sweetener - I use cane sugar or brown sugar to taste but you can use whichever granulated or liquid option you prefer like simple syrup or zero sugar sweetener. I will note that plain honey won't mix very well into this cold drink so I'd recommend a honey syrup like my ginger honey syrup.
Try my citrus simple syrup for another sugar substitute!
How to Make Henny Punch at Home

Step One: Slice up the fruits, cutting the grapefruit slices into halves for size.

Step Two: Pour all the remaining ingredients into a punch bowl or beverage dispenser over ice.
Pro Tip: If you want to keep the punch cold without diluting with too much ice, consider freezing the citrus slices!

Step Three: Drop the sliced citrus into the punch.

Step Four: Stir all the ingredients until combined and sweetener is dissolved.

Step Five: Serve ice cold and enjoy responsibly!
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can make Hennessy punch up to two days ahead of time and I'm of the mind that it gets better with time since the flavors have more time to marinate. Just don't add the citrus or ice until you're ready to serve it.
In the unlikely event you have leftover punch, store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to three days. Remove any citrus slices and ice cubes before storing.

How to Serve
This Hennessy and fruit punch is best served ice cold so I recommend pouring it into glasses over fresh ice as well, even better if you can chill the glasses but that's not required.
Add citrus fruit to each glass for color contrast and aroma. For ease, I recommend serving the punch out of a beverage dispenser, however, for aesthetic, I'll choose this punch bowl and ladle set every single time!

You had me at Hennessy! I used grenadine with this drink and it was really delicious. I’m more of a sweet drinker so this punch with the added citrhs and sugar was perfect.
