Happy Monday, y'all! What is better than s'mores dip? Well, in my opinion, dark chocolate s'mores dip. I am of a the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice mindset and that carries over to my chocolate, too (I'm actually not a big milk or white chocolate fan anyway). Dark chocolate gives this classic dessert some flavor complexity. Y'all may recall that I used Torani sauces in this frozen hot cocoa frappe recipe from last year. That was a no-brainer because Torani has been serving up authentic coffeehouse flavors for years. I obviously knew it could be used to top delicious drinks like mochas and frappes but I hadn't thought about using it in a dessert until I got to brainstorming this dark chocolate s'mores dip. The result was wonderfully tasty.
How to Make Skillet S'Mores Dip
Making this easy dessert recipe (or snack--no judgement) is quick and easy. To start, just add a layer of your favorite dark chocolate to a 10-inch skillet then top it off with jumbo marshmallows. About five minutes in the oven and a healthy drizzle of Torani dark chocolate sauce later, you've got ooey-gooey goodness with no campfire required! This is a simple way to enjoy s'mores indoors but you can also make it over a campfire if you are an outdoors kinda girl. We love versatility, right? Get the full details in the recipe card below.
Now, I know that dark chocolate isn't everyone's thing so you could totally use another Torani sauce to top your s'mores dip. I think the caramel one would be scrumptious! You can't really go wrong with any of these because Torani's products help create delicious beverages and desserts. Something I recently learned about the brand is that it's a 3rd generation, family-owned business--they've been crafting drinks in the cafe industry for over 90 years! If you want to incorporate s'mores into your next celebration, try this dark chocolate s'mores dip. This DIY s'mores bar is also a great option and it's interactive for your friends. π If you're a marshmallow lover, I also recommend this peppermint cocoa dip--it's SO good.
