What You'll Need for this Recipe

Strawberries - You can make this recipe using fresh strawberries or with frozen strawberries interchangeably. I recommend using bright red, ripe, juicy berries if you opt for fresh.
Vanilla Bean adds the vanilla flavor. I recommend using a high quality organic vanilla bean for the best results, though, you can use one tablespoon of vanilla extract or three teaspoons of vanilla bean paste instead.

Substitutions & Variations
Sweetener - You can use the granulated or liquid sweetener of your choice in this recipe just note that each one will add different flavor and texture notes. Honey works and I've also seen this syrup made using stevia.
Granulated sugar is standard for simple syrup but brown sugar also works and adds caramel color and flavor. Either option will keep the recipe vegan.

Strawberry Vanilla Syrup sounds delicious
Could this be added to the sweet tea concentrate?
If so how much per pint jar?
Thanks for the delicious recipes

Hi, Sharon! If you want to combine the strawberry vanilla syrup and my sweet tea concentrate, I recommend a 1:1 ratio of each then using the normal amount of the resultant syrup in your tea, so about half an ounce of syrup for every eight ounces of water.
