This frozen peppermint hot cocoa frappe is to winter what my frozen watermelon mint lemonade was for summer. Except that this summer was decidedly scorching whereas winter hasn't quite come around yet. So it's actually perfect for the on-again-off-again weather we've been having pretty much nationwide. The minty, hot cocoa flavor evokes all the wintery feels and the frozen form will help keep things cool even if the temperature isn't so seasonal.
The secret to this easy drink is Torani Real Cream Coffee Frappe Mix. I pour it over ice and add just two other ingredients then blend. Torani peppermint syrup and a little cocoa powder customizes the flavor and the result is a rich creamy texture. Whipped cream to top it off and you have the perfect indulgent moment without even going to a fancy coffee shop. Torani also has a plain frappe mix if you don't have the taste for coffee. I think this drink would pair perfectly with my candy cane cookies!
Y'all may know I'm not the biggest coffee drinker but my mother is. I have fond memories of trying to emulate her grownup grace on Saturday mornings--she with a proper cuppa and me with a splash of coffee and mostly milk in my mug. 🙂 I partnered with Torani to dust off my former barista skills and create a drink that would help us make new memories--with a little holiday twist.
Ever the bargain queen, I have a digital coupon for y'all to get $2 off (1) Torani Real Cream Frappe Mix at Walmart or Torani.com. Let me know below what you think about the drink. Thanks for reading!
