Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! If you're reading this on the day of, you're probably a.) impatiently waiting for the food to be ready (It's never on time.) or b.) full of good food and fresh off a post-turkey nap. Either way, I thank you for visiting on a holiday! I am probably knee-deep in fixins right now, and maybe pushing back dinner time ever-so-slightly myself. 🙂 Thankfully, my Grandma and I are teaming up in the kitchen this year so our family can expect some serious generational black girl magic to occur. Also, if you don't already, follow me on Instagram to see all the behind the scenes cooking action on my Insta-stories! If you are looking for a last-minute dish to add to the table, check out my side dish roundup or my desserts roundup for some quick recipe inspiration--many have just a few ingredients! This post is a short and sweet one to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you who visit Dash of Jazz on the regular...or even just every once in a while. Know that I appreciate you so much and everything I share is geared toward helping you. If you ever have questions about anything or suggestions for what you want to see here on the blog, don't hesitate to let me know. That's why I'm here! I'll sign off with a quick list of the things I'm thankful for this year.
- My family: They are my biggest supporters and my mom is probably reading this post right now.
- My health: My mom was diagnosed with Lupus around the age I am now and I don't take being in good health for granted, even in youth.
- My readers: It's truly gratifying and humbling to get feedback from y'all on my posts and hear that you've tried a recipe, gotten a bargain on a home item, or incorporated one of my tips into your life. Here's to all of you!
Thanks for spending a little time here on Turkey Day. 🙂
P.S. If you're like me and averse to going out on Black Friday, tomorrow's post is for you. At midnight, I'm dropping a shoppable gift guide so you can check everyone off your list from behind your laptop!
