Entertaining is a passion of mine but it’s not for the faint of heart. So, always thank your hostess, y’all. Even better if you can do it with a small (or large) token. Since it’s the holiday season, here’s a roundup of excellent gift ideas any hostess would surely appreciate. You’ll definitely get a VIP invite to the next shindig if you pop up with one of these. Whether you want to have something nice in hand when you show up to her party or are looking for something really nice to slide under her tree, this gift guide has you covered. There’s a little something for every hostess, ranging from budget to ballin’–gifts on this guide start under $5! I already own many of these items and the rest are on my wish list. *hint hint* Check out all my holiday hostess gift recommendations below.

  • Becoming Michelle Obama Everyone needs this book. Besides Michelle Obama being the epitome of style and grace–two things to which every hostess should aspires–it’s also a conversation piece. Get it quickly with Amazon Prime.
  • Gold Cocktail Shaker Help her mix up a cocktail, stylish. If you aren’t into the honeycomb patter of the one pictured, I recommend this sleeker one.
  • Kimono A kimono is my go-to item to throw on when guests are coming over. I instantly feel put together and its comfortable. There’s just something about how it swishes that make you feel like you’re walking through a plush estate. 🙂 I’ve linked a few more cute ones, including a leopard print, below.

  • Purple Crystal Vase Just add flowers to this for the perfect gift. The vase is a beautiful one she’ll want to display year-round.
  • This moderately-priced Faux Fur Throw from Anthropologie is the ultimate in comfort. Here’s a mid-priced throw and a higher-end one, as well. Either of these would look fab draped across a couch or chair and get lots of use this time of year, especially.
  • This Rise & Slay Mug will remind her just how fantastic she is at the start of every day. You can get it quickly with Amazon Prime.
  • A personalized gift like this Initial Christmas Tree Ornament will become a cherished piece
  • PureWine Wands These things are genius. Just drop one in your wine glass to filter out histamines and all the things that negatively alter the taste and create headaches the next morning. Pick up a pack for the thoughtful hostess who turns up on vino. You can get them quickly with Amazon Prime, too.
  • These Birdies Slippers are just perfect to pair with the kimono! Come in lots of colors and sizes and are cute enough to entertain in.
  • A Marble Wine Chiller a great gift on it’s own but you can also pop a bottle of wine in there and be done done. 🙂
  • This Monogrammed Cheese Board comes in two sizes. I also shared a [sold out] cheese board I purchased from Anthropologie on Instagram a while back and got lots questions about it so here’s a very similar one from there currently in stock.
  • Bespoke Binny Aprons come in a variety of beautiful African prints and are a great option for the cooking hostess, especially if she likes supporting quality black-owned, woman-owned, small businesses!
  • Nest Candle comes beautifully boxed and ready to give.
  • Kate Spade Tea Towels are cheeky yet useful. Eat Cake for Breakfast | Adding the Sauce | Stirring the Pot
  • Personalized Tortoise Clutch Because tortoise is a classic material and seeing your name on something automatically makes it even cuter.
  • Wine Decanter this one is available at Target and, like the marble wine chiller above, makes a great standalone gift.
  • Rose Quartz Roller
  • Silk Sleep Mask This is a luxury item but well worth the splurge for a few reasons. If you haven’t yet, sign up for their email list for $20 off your first order!
  • #ThisIsEverything Lip Treatment is one my favorite finds of 2018! It smells wonderful and keeps your lips moisturized. It’s under $5, only available online, and a great stocking stuffer or add-on item. I keep one in my purse at all times.
  • A Sous Vide is the it gift of the year and, if your hostess likes creating perfectly cooked…anything, she’ll love it. Get this one quickly with Amazon Prime, as well.
  • Whiskey in a Teacup by Reese Witherspoon is full of Southern lessons learned and will brighten up your hostess’ coffee table or bookcase.

I hope this guide inspires your holiday hostess gift giving. If you have any questions or need a specific recommendation, feel free to shoot me an email or leave a comment below. As always, thanks for reading!
