Thank you to Powell & Mahoney for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
In today's post, I'm sharing some easy add-ons to give with a bottle (alcoholic or otherwise) for the host of any holiday party you might attend. If you're very close to the host and/or don't want to bring just a bottle, you can add on any of these little items to make the gift more personal, memorable, and useful! Truthfully, these ideas are good year-round but since there are typically more gatherings during this time of year, start scrolling for 6 easy bottle gift ideas complete with affordable product suggestions and relevant recipe inspo!
1. Mixers
Whether it's a bottle of bitters paired with their favorite whiskey or some OJ paired with champagne to mix up mimosas, your host will love you for basically bringing a complete cocktail! I suggest pairing the Powell & Mahoney Peach Bellini with a bottle of bourbon to make the Kentucky Peach Smash (recipe is right on the Bellini bottle!). I decided to partner with Powell & Mahoney for this post because their mixers are all natural and beautifully packaged. Y'all know that I'm all about easy entertaining at home and P&M mixers are a new go-to because they look great on my bar cart and I can find them in my favorite stores like Target and Whole Foods. They're also naturally gluten-free, in case that's a concern of yours. π

2. Bottle Openers and Corkscrews
Adding a decorative or personalized bottle opener to a six pack of beer or cider or a nice corkscrew to the host's wine of choice is easy.
Recipe Inspo: Bourbon Caramel Apple Cider
3. Stones and Ice Molds
As a whiskey girl, I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't yet have a set of whiskey stones. So, if any of my friends are reading this, here's a hint. π If your host is a brunch king or queen, give them an ice mold + a bottle of champagne so they can make champagne ice cubes for mimosas (and invite you over).
Recipe Inspo: Bubbly Bourbon & Berries Cocktail, Turnt Tequila Mimosas
4. Glasses
Upgrade a basic bottle of wine, champagne, or liquor by adding two pretty glasses. Think champagne flutes, shot glasses, wine goblets or whichever glass works best for their liquor of choice. If the host loves vodka, grab two Moscow mule mugs to go with the bottle and automatically become their favorite guest.
Recipe Inspo: Cranberry Apple Spice Mules, Citrus Champagne Sparklers, Cherry Elderflower Smash
5. Decorative Stoppers or Bags
These are a good option for any bottle from wine to liquor but especially wine as it can be hard to get the cork back in the bottle. You can also keep the wine snug in a festive wine bag, which are available most anywhere, especially around the holidays.
Recipe Inspo: Red Wine Hot Chocolate, 2-Step Frose
6. Non-Alcoholic Bottles
We're at the age where fancy sparkling water can be just as exciting as a six pack! If you know your host loves a particular brand, feel free to bring it along. To upgrade these, add on some cute glasses or paper straws.
Recipe Inspo: Fizzy Honey Ginger Lemonade
I hope these 6 easy bottle gift ideas help you elevate your next host or hostess gift. For more cocktail combinations, check out Powell & Mahoney on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or Twitter. Happy Holidays and thanks for reading!
