Give them space.
As an introvert, I love my alone time. Even the most extroverted people need peace and quiet every once in a while. This gift isn't necessarily about literal space. Oftentimes, we want to be "fixers" and to have all the answers for the people we care about but that just isn't always possible. Sometimes, what they really need a listening ear and to feel empowered to think/work through an issue on their own terms. Give them the trust and space to do things on their terms with the knowledge that you are there for them. This isn't to say that you should ghost your loved one and call it a gift!
Give them a break.
This probably fits in under the acts of service love language but every person can appreciate you taking something off of their plate. Cook a meal. Run an errand. Little things like that help free up their time and mental space and maybe allow them to do something nice for themselves. 🙂 This especially applies if you know someone with kids! I really love babies and, after one of my cousins gave birth a couple of years back, I would stop by every.single.day after work and tend to her newborn. I was just having fun being in their presence but she later told me it was such a help for her to have that time to do whatever she needed to do for the day knowing that he was cared for.
Share your self care.
If you have something you're into, whether it's meditation, a helpful podcast, or a fun workout, share it with a friend or loved one. I try to practice yoga at least twice per week and believe it's something everybody can benefit from. Bringing a friend to class with me or just passing on information about upcoming fitness (even better if they're free!) events is a habit that helps those around me find and flourish in their groove. Quality time is a bonus. 🙂
Give them a pick-me-up.
For a tangible gift, I love Mrs. Meyer's® brand products and am highlighting the body wash in today's post. Mrs. Meyer's® Lavender Body Wash is the perfect pick-me-up all by itself or as part of a self-care care package. The scent fills your whole bathroom during a shower so the recipient of this can have a mini refreshing experience within their daily routine. Mrs. Meyer's® Body Wash is available in many different garden-inspired scents at Target, and each is made with essential oils, plant-derived and other thoughtfully chosen ingredients! The bottles are not only pretty but also recyclable, BPA-free, and made of at least 30% post-consumer recycled material. All you need to add is a bow and you're good to go.
For a full on self-care care package, I recommend including:
- Fresh Flowers

The body wash smells AMAZING. I also love the basil and tried the parsley hand soap at a friend's house the other day.
