We are more than halfway through 2020 and the struggle is real in so many ways. In addition to dealing with a global health pandemic and increased attention to racial injustice, we are all trying to stay afloat and if we’re very fortunate, maybe even make progress. My new normal includes doing almost everything from home and I hope to still crush the goals I set for myself at the beginning of this year, including my fitness goals.

Those fitness goals include getting stronger, improving my stamina, and maintaining flexibility so, prior to Madame Corona rearing her head, I was getting active 5-6 times each week in a variety of ways. Now it’s more like 3-4 times a week but I still find that a mix of low, moderate, and high intensity activities works best to keep me challenged and interested. Each type of activity calls for different tools and even clothes so I’ve tested lots of products over the last couple of years.
