Quick and Easy - You only need five minutes to whip up this hard-boiled egg dip! No stress about cutting the eggs perfectly (or at all), piping the filling, or any of that. It's beginner-friendly and customizable. Peep my pro tips below for options to make it with or without kitchen appliances.
Spot-on Flavor - I am an unabashed deviled egg fiend--have been since I was a little bitty girl--so I'm particular about the flavors. They have to be just right. So this simple deviled egg dip recipe tastes like deviled eggs: creamy, tangy, and very slightly sweet & sour from pickle relish!

What You'll Need for this Recipe

Hard-Boiled Eggs are the base of this recipe and you can stretch fewer eggs further by making a dip vs. traditional deviled eggs because we're using the whole egg to make the spread and not just the yolk! Use whichever size and brand of eggs you like best.
Cream Cheese acts as a binder to help hold everything together with creamy texture and adds a lil tang, too. I don't recommend using a reduced fat cream cheese here.
Pickle Relish adds texture and flavor so don't skip it! You can use sweet relish, sour relish or a combination of both. I like sweet and sour relish here and diced pickles also work in a pinch. If you don't like pickles but want that sour acidity, add a spoon or two of vinegar.

Substitutions & Variations
Hot Sauce - Use any hot sauce brand you like, including Louisiana, Tabasco, and Crystal or even Sriracha.
Mustard - I like Creole brown mustard in this recipe but you can use yellow mustard, dijon, or even honey mustard if you like it sweeter.
Spices - We like smoky and spicy so that's the spice combination I use here but you can add whatever you like. Garlic and onion powder are great additions or you can use mixes like ranch seasoning, French onion soup mix, or Cajun spice blend like Zatarain's.
How to Make Quick Deviled Egg Dip

- Step 1: Add the eggs, relish, mustard, mayonnaise, and cream cheese to food processor.

- Step 2: Pulse until the mixture starts to come together.
Pro Tip #1
If you don't have a food processor, you can make this dip in a blender. You can even mash everything together by hand; just make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature to make it as easy as possible!

- Step 3: Add spices and hot sauce to taste then pulse until smooth then garnish and serve.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. You can make deviled eggs dip up to two days ahead of time. Store it in the refrigerator.
Store the dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Keeps for up to two days. Reserve garnishes until ready to serve. Do not freeze.
Use it as a deviled egg sandwich spread, too! Trust me, it's bomb. The texture is similar to hummus and it easily adds multiple layers of flavor to a plain ol' turkey sandwich or even a wrap or burger.

What To Serve with Deviled Egg Dip
Don't skip the garnishes because they aren't just aesthetic, they also add flavor! Cayenne for heat, chive for brightness, and paprika for sweet pepperiness.
You can also add crispy crumbled bacon, diced jalapeño, or fresh dill.
As far as what to eat with deviled eggs dip, just spoon it into a bowl and pick whatever dippers you like. Buttery crackers, carrot sticks and celery sticks, plantain chips or potato chips, and pretzels are some of our favorite ideas.
This dip is good for Easter brunch, game day spreads, and even the cookout menu. And my pickle martini is the perfect cocktail pairing for deviled egg flavors!
