The post is sponsored by the NEW Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt but the content and opinions expressed are my own.
What does your workflow look like and does it actually work for you? As a blogger, I spend a lot of time just me and my laptop. Aside from photo shoots and attending events, I mainly work on Dash of Jazz from the house. From time to time, I also work from home for my corporate job. I previously touched on my workflow here but each day is a little different. Working from home can seem dreamy and definitely has its perks (like slippers instead of stilettos and no office colds going around) but is disastrous without discipline. Let's talk about how to stay on track.
There are some work tasks--whether related to my day job or my blog and brand--that don't get me very excited. As much as I love what I do, anything can get monotonous from time to time--from household maintenance to SEO research and expense reports. While we're at it, tax season is upon us and preparing personal and business taxes is a whole nother form of mundane. For this reason, I like to incorporate a bit of enjoyment into my everyday activities. Whether it's listening to my favorite podcasts and playlists while cleaning or having an indulgent treat on hand while responding to emails and writing. That's where Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt comes in. It's a new item on my list of little enjoyments--not to be confused with the plain Greek yogurt I incorporate into my meal planning and prep routine. Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt is made with double the cream of Oikos Whole Milk Yogurt so the texture is thick and luscious--a true treat!
I asked if y'all were familiar with Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt over on Instagram a couple of weeks back and got crickets so let me introduce you. 🙂 I've tried the Salt-Dusted Caramel Creme, which has a hyper indulgent salted caramel flavored sauce at the bottom and the Lemon Sweet Cream Delight, which is bright and lightly sweet. In total, there are four flavors, Magnificent Mixed Berry Rhubarb and Honey Drizzled Blueberry being the other two. Having a treat to look forward to while working is key for me and just as important as eliminating distractions. Pro tip: Put your phone on airplane mode when you absolutely need to power through something. This prevents outside interruptions from people blowing you up as well as those pesky self-imposed distractions like mindlessly scrolling through the gram.
Everyday tasks like grocery shopping and organizing receipts for tax time (can't help but mention it again because it's just that time of year!) can get boring real quick and inserting little moments of enjoyment is necessary. What are the little things that get you through adulting? I would also love to hear your podcast and playlist recommendations! Want to learn more about the NEW Oikos Oh! Double Cream Yogurt?
