Wear to Work & Play

Sustainable, versatile clothes to wear to work & play

Thanks to prAna for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

First off, thanks so much to all of y’all who took the annual reader survey, which closed last week. I’ve been combing through the feedback to help shape the blog and social media content you’ll see in the coming months. Something I found interesting is that y’all wouldn’t mind seeing more work-related content here on the blog, so be on the lookout for that…starting today! I’m excited to have partnered with prAna to bring you a bit of wear to work & play inspo for the Fall plus a discount code since y’all also expressed interest in bargain shopping and couponing (two of my favorite pastimes). Of course, there’s more to work than clothes but I thought this would be a good way to test the waters.

PrAna clothing is mindfully made with hemp, organic, and eco-friendly materials, and versatile enough to go from work to play. If your office is anything like mine, it’s usually freezing. So, even though Fall weather hasn’t yet hit down here, I’ve worn the Deedra tunic sweater with a pair of ankle trousers and pumps to work and then swapped in a pair of jeans and booties for happy hour. Day to night clothing that makes a positive impact on the planet? That’s a “yes” from me.

I also like the Archer sweater dress for off-duty activities, though, I’d get crazy looks if I tried to run around town in it right now (Texas weather problems). The thing about both pieces is that you actually can run around in them. PrAna designs clothing that is made for active lifestyles and tested for outdoor activities. The fabric is breathable, soft, and comfortable. I can easily wear my either piece, with leggings, to a lunchtime yoga session.
