  • 12 cups watermelon cut into cubes
  • 2 cups agave tequila
  • ¼ cup orange liqueur
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons sugar optional
  • 10 mint leaves chopped

Instructions

  • Arrange watermelon in a single layer on a sheet pan.

  • Whisk together tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, sugar, and mint leaves until sugar is fully dissolved.
    2 cups agave tequila, ¼ cup orange liqueur, 1 lime, 2 tablespoons sugar, 10 mint leaves
  • Pour liquid mixture over watermelon.
  • Transfer pan to refrigerate and chill for at least one hour up to overnight (the longer the better). Serve cold.

Can I make this ahead of time? Absolutely. This is a spiked summer fruit dish that gets better with time. Make it up to one day in advance and keep it in the fridge.
