Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ½ peach
  • ½ cup cherries pitted
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach leaves
  • 1 two-inch piece fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 one-inch piece fresh turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 serving unflavored protein powder optional
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds

Instructions

  • Cut peach into chunks and discard pit. Remove pits of cherries.
  • Add spinach to blender, followed by protein powder, cherries, peach, blueberries, ginger, turmeric, orange juice, and cayenne.
  • Cover and pulse until completely liquefied and uniform in color (about one minute). Serve immediately.

Notes

Can I make this smoothie ahead of time? Yes, you can blender the smoothie ingredients up to three days in advance. Just be sure to shake or mix it up before drinking as separation may occur.
