  • 2 ounces pickle brine
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1 ounce Prosecco or sparkling wine

    1 lemon wedge, coarse salt
  • Fill glass ¾ full with ice then pour in pickle brine and vodka.
ice, 2 ounces pickle brine, 1 ounce vodka
  • Fill half the remaining space in the glass with sparkling wine then the rest of the way with club soda. Stir gently, and serve with cocktail pickle garnish.
1 ounce Prosecco, ¾ ounce club soda

Notes

Substitutions
A wedge of lime or sour orange would work just as well in place of lemon here.
Use whichever brand of vodka you enjoy the most in this drink. I'll be honest, vodka is not my spirit of choice and generally tastes neutral to me, but if you have a discerning palate, lean into it! Alternatively, you can use a non-alcoholic spirit to make it virgin.
Serving
To batch this drink for a crowd, fill a pitcher or carafe ¾ full with ice, then pour in eight ounces of pickle brine, four ounces of vodka, four ounces club soda, and three ounces of club soda. Stir to combine and serve over fresh ice. Serves four.
