Preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit. Trim ends of green beans then rinse them and pat dry. Crush or mince the garlic and set aside.
Place the prepped green beans in a large bowl then toss them with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated
Spread green beans into a single layer on sheet pan and place in the oven to roast for 20-25 minutes or until green beans are cooked through. When cooked they should have a glossy, wrinkly appearance with a slightly duller green color, and brown spots where they have contact with the pan.
While the green beans roast, melt the butter in small skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Cook the butter for four minutes then add minced garlic. Continue cooking until butter is golden brown with a toasted, nutty aroma (about 4-5 more minutes).
Toss roasted green beans in browned garlic butter then sprinkle with crushed red pepper, and serve.

PreparationYou can make these roasted green beans up to two days ahead of time as long as you store them properly.StorageStore the cooked green beans, including any extra garlic butter refrigerated in an airtight container. They will keep for up to five days this way. Reheat for 10 minutes in the oven at 375 degrees or in the microwave for two minutes on high when ready to serve.To freeze baked green beans, place in an airtight, freezer-safe container and they will keep for up to one year. Note that their texture will be softer once defrosted.
