Easy sugar syrup for cocktails with intense flavor from the citrus fruits of your choosing

- 3 citrus fruits
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Add granulated sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat.
Squeeze juice of each citrus fruit into saucepan and stir until mixture is uniform and sugar is dissolved.
Remove peels from juiced fruits and add into saucepan.
Bring mixture to a boil (about 5 minutes) then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to fully cool before using in cocktails, homemade fountain drinks, or other recipes.
