Silky smooth fruit and wine sorbet made in three simple steps without an ice cream maker
Add pears, honey, lemon, and Riesling to a small saucepan over medium heat and stir to combine.Bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes then remove mixture from heat and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.
Pour contents of saucepan into a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth (about one full minute).
Pour blended mixture into a freezer safe container and place in freezer for at least 4 hours.
Store uneaten sorbet in the freezer in an airtight container.
Keeps for about three weeks.
