Spicy southern classic dip made spicier and more flavorful with Jennie-O Hot Turkey Sausage and Hot Rotel.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium flame. Add turkey sausage, sea salt, black pepper, and chopped onion. Cook until sausage is browned and onions are translucent. Drain.
Stir in diced tomatoes and chiles then cream cheese. Mix until uniform.
Spread mixture into a quart-sized baking dish then sprinkle cheddar cheese over top. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
Garnish with chive or green onion. Serve with sturdy crackers, chips, or veggie sticks for dipping.
