Total Time 4 hours 10 minutes
Servings 18 meatballs

  • 2 pounds lean ground turkey
  • ½ cups bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup pesto
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup broth or water

  1. Add all ingredients except for pesto and broth to a large bowl and mix until uniform. I do this with my hands to make sure all the spices are incorporated throughout the turkey.
  2. Form mixture into balls slightly larger than golf balls. Place into crock pot.
  3. In a smaller bowl, whisk together pesto and broth. Pour over meatballs and cover crockpot. Cook for about 4 hours on low, checking every so often. (Crock pots differ, so you may need to adjust the cooking time.)
