Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw shrimp cleaned and peeled
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray a sheet pan with non-stick oil and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the zest and juice from one lemon with melted butter (or olive oil), black pepper, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, and sea salt. Stir until uniform.
  • Add shrimp to bowl of lemon pepper sauce and mix with a spoon or your hands until evenly coated.
  • Divide shrimp into four equal portions and thread each portion onto a skewer. Place each skewer onto prepared sheet pan.
  • Place sheet pan on top rack of oven. Cook for about six minutes or until shrimp are a deep orange/coral color and no longer translucent.
