Slow Cooker Applesauce
Easy, homemade applesauce made in a slow cooker with just a few simple ingredients

I used granny smith, golden delicious, and honey crisp.

Peel, core, and chop apples into two-inch chunks.
Place in crock and add cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Toss until well coated then add water
Cook on high for about two and a half hours, (or on low for four hours) checking periodically and "mushing" apples with a wooden spoon about halfway through.
Serve at whatever temperature you desire but be sure to refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container.
