In case you have not yet heard, it's a hot girl summer. That means we're applying pressure all season long, ladies! I recently wrapped up back-to-back trips to Vegas where my friends and I did just that. And y'all gassed me up on my Instagram photos of a few outfits I wore while there (thank you very much). 🙂 Putting together vacay looks is always fun but Vegas holds a special place in my heart because the style is very extra. Animal prints, sequins, pops of neon colors, and all-black-everything looks--very me! The Vegas uniform is pretty distinctive but it can toe the line with trashy. This Vegas style guide pulls together fresh and tasteful options that embody Vegas style. Scroll for poolside, daytime, and nightlife looks you can turn up the heat in.
Sunnies & Visors
Being in the middle of the desert, Vegas is hot and sunny almost year round. Sunglasses and visors will make a stylish statement and help protect your skin and eyes. Boom.
Pool Party Swimsuits
Vegas pool parties are a fashion show and you don't want to be caught slipping. Remember, we're applying pressure!
Coverups to Walk through Resorts
Vegas is an adult playground and, as such, pretty permissive. But a spicy coverup is still a good idea to get from point A to point pool party.
Shoes for Walking The Strip
Since walking through any resort casino to get out to The Strip is a hike in and of itself, sneakers or supportive sandals are your best bet. But there's no reason to be frumpy as you walk around and see all you can see.
Dress & Jumpsuits for Nightlife
Bright bodycon dresses, slinky sequined numbers, catsuits, and anything animal printed is perfect for Vegas nightclubs, shows, or dinner.
Belt Bags & Fanny Packs
Fanny packs, bum bags, whatever you want to call them, have been popular in Vegas and really any touristy destination for years before they came back on trend. They're cute, compact, and useful to remain hands-free while turning up.
If Vegas is in your upcoming travel plans, I hope you've found some style inspo here--go ahead and pin this post to your wanderlust board. 🙂 And, if you have a beachy destination on your horizon, I recommend my Hawaii Look Book. Thanks for reading!
