Make this easy, all-natural slow cooker applesauce and kick the storebought stuff to the curb. Bonus: It can be flavored any way you want! by Dash of Jazz

Slow Cooker Applesauce

I am nearing the end of my time in braces, and while I definitely partake in items from the “do not eat” list my orthodontist gave me oh so long ago, I also have a newfound appreciation for soft foods. One such is applesauce. Actually, I have always loved applesauce. It has been a near-constant snack of mine, even in that time after childhood butย before braces where you might think I was ashamed to have little Mott’s packs in my purse (I wasn’t). I add it to my oatmeal each morning. I dip pretzels in it for a snack. You can only imagine my delight when I discovered how easy it is to make my own at home. This recipe is extremely simple and the product is rewarding because it is not only tasty, but also all-natural, and to my (or your) exact specifications. The control freak in me LOVES that. This is a simple and to-the-point recipe so let’s get into it. As few as two ingredients and a run in the slow cooker are all you need. You can make it while you run errands, clean up around the house, etc.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this slow cooker applesauce below. Thanks for reading!
