I might have promised not to post anything cheesy 🙂 for a while a few posts back but I think the hiatus has gone on long enough, don’t you? Plus, this praline brie dip is so easy to make and SO good. Plus, we are right in the thick of holiday parties and who doesn’t want to show up with something impressive and yummy? I made this dip for a girls-only wine and cheese night and it was a hit for two simple reasons. Reason one is the praline sauce you may have seen on a very well-received previous recipe. Reason two is cheese, duh! It is sweet and savory with crunch and creaminess all rolled into one. Take this with you to your next gathering with some crackers, bread, or anything you think might be suited to scooping up all the goodness. I apologize if I am coming across as a little obnoxious in this post. You can blame the fact that I scraped the praline sauce pan clean with my fingers and…you know the rest. I am kind of bouncing off the walls right now.
This praline brie dip was a big hit at our girls night and I served it again at my housewarming. It’s one of my most-requested recipes and I think it’s because of the sweet and savory combination. You also get a bit of saltiness from the cheese and crunch from the pecans. Praline sauce, in general, is one of my favorite things and really popular when I have folks over to the house so I’ve got lots of recipes with in in some form. Check ’em out:
