As something of a grocery shopping pro, I am not often caught off guard by products when doing my daily or weekly runs. However, I was surprised to find out that Jennie-O makes fully cooked, pre-seasoned turkey breasts, which can be found in the deli section of grocery stores. Y’all know that I love subbing turkey in whenever I can because it’s so lean and versatile. Well, Jennie-O sent me a few varieties of their Premium Portions to try: Cajun Style, Sun-Dried Tomato, and Oven Roasted.
I liked each flavor but decided to dice up the oven roasted version to create these easy lunchtime turkey lettuce wraps to have each work day. They are simple as can be and tasty on top of that so I’m sharing the step by step with y’all to recreate. You’ll only need a few ingredients to put these together: Jennie-O turkey breast, lettuce or cabbage, whatever veggies you desire (I used cucumber and carrots), and your favorite salad dressing or sauce. This is a solid no-cook meal option that is perfect for the sweltering heat that is about to take hold of us this summer. It is already in the 90s here in Houston! And if you’ll have little ones around, this is a very simple meal they can help with or even make themselves.
I used cabbage for these wraps because the colors caught my eye in store. This makes for stiffer, crunchier rolls but feel free to use the lettuce of your choosing if you prefer. Lettuce would be much easier to roll but it is totally up to you. You can throw these together and have lunch for the week in just about 10 minutes! I packed up the wraps in these medium-sized containers and a bit of my current favorite salad dressing in these smaller ones for grab-and-go convenience this work week.

- 1 head cabbage or lettuce separated into about 15 leaves
- 1 Jennie-O turkey fully cooked turkey breast diced
- 10 ounces matchstick or shredded carrots
- 1 cucumber chopped or diced
- salad dressing of your choice
- salt & black pepper to taste
Assemble wrap by adding in turkey, veggies, and seasoning then tucking in sides and rolling up to close. Repeat until all ingredients are consumed.
Add dressing or sauce to a small bowl for dipping. Enjoy!
