Caramel makes just about anything better. Anything. I used this sauce as a glaze on my pumpkin cupcakes but it’s so good that it merits its own dedicated post. It’s a glaze, a sauce, a dip, or a spread just depending on how much liquid you add and at what temperature you serve it. You can use this to up the deliciousness on baked goods, drizzle over popcorn, and in SO many other ways. I’ve also just let it drip off the end of a spoon into my mouth but don’t try that at home, kids. It’s very simple and quick to make so let’s get to it.



3/4 cup butter

2 cups brown sugar

3/4 cup milk (I used unsweetened almond)

1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

Makes about three cups.


Add butter, brown sugar, and sweetened condensed milk to a small saucepan over medium heat.


Stir mixture until butter melts.

Allow mixture to boil for a few minutes, scraping sides of pan to prevent sticking.


Turn off flame and slowly stir in milk.


Enjoy as you please. 🙂
