I share a lot on social media and get to interact with lots of people that way but in case you aren’t following my Instagram yet, here are details of some of the more popular things I’ve shared recently via my feed and Instagram stories. Recipes, restaurants, and products I’m testing are typically in my stories, so you’ll also get a little peek at things soon to come to the blog down at the bottom.
It’s almost cherry season so I updated my fresh fruit compotes post. Here’s the cherry variation.
Lemonade Day is a national, non-profit organization that teaches children financial and entrepreneurship principles in preparation for them running their own lemonade stand. I mentored a team of little angels through my church this year and snapped this pic of them at their stand this past Sunday. We won Best-Tasting Lemonade and I’m so proud!
My wonderfully-talented cousin designed and made this top that I wore for the photos of my Turnt Tequila Mimosas! Her company, Green July Creations, is based in Lagos, Nigeria. She also made the maxi skirt I’m wearing in my profile picture.
HEB is my favorite place to shop for flowers and groceries. Most of the flowers I’ve purchased last well over a week and the green and yellow arrangement above is still kicking 12 days later! I wrote about their floral design studio here.
A few weeks ago, I attended a photography workshop at Lawless Kitchen & Spirits and this unicorn cake from Whisk Bakery was one of the subjects we got to practice on. We also got to try their appetizers and yummy cocktails!
My living room is slowly coming together and I hope to get a tour up for y’all in the next month or so. A full home tour from when I first moved in is on Black Southern Belle.
I wore this to Elle Heath‘s blogger happy hour a few weeks back.

I’m currently cooking with:
