Thank you to H-E-B Blooms for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
While I won’t make a gross generalization about an entire gender of unique, fierce, complex creatures and say that all women love flowers for Valentine’s Day, I will say that I do! I absolutely love having fresh flowers around any day of the week so all the gorgeous arrangements that abound this time of year are truly fragrant eye candy to me. I can’t get enough. If you ever watch my Instagram stories, you’ve likely noticed that I do most of my grocery shopping at H-E-B and always make my way to their Blooms section during my grocery runs in order to visually take in all the gorgeous bouquets and arrangements. Sometimes I buy and sometimes I just smell and swoon. 🙂 So, when my favorite grocery store/fresh flower shop asked if I wanted to learn more about their flower offerings, I was like “Yes, please!” The Blooms Design Studio delivered an arrangement right to my front door and it’s so beautiful that I had to share it with y’all in case anyone is looking for local V-Day flowers. I want to apologize in advance to my out-of-state readers as H-E-B Blooms Studios are a Texas thing, specifically South and Central Texas. If it’s any consolation, not even all Texas cities are blessed enough to have one nearby. When I lived in Dallas, I remember often thinking “How do y’all survive without H-E-B?!” #firstworldproblems
Whenever I buy flowers from H-E-B, I’m always pleased with how long they last. It isn’t quite in my budget to have fresh flowers in my home at all times so I appreciate typically getting about a week’s worth of beauty out of them. As for this particular arrangement of roses, hydrangea, and Bells of Ireland, the flowers and greenery were very fresh but I did transfer them into a vase with fresh water after a few days in order to enjoy them for as long as possible. As I’m writing this, they’ve held up for a week so I’m pretty pleased. My particular arrangement is here and you can browse the Blooms Design Studio floral catalog here. You could even “accidentally” leave the page with your favorite one open on your laptop in front of bae to drop a hint. It’s really not too late at this point and even if he or she is a procrastinator, same-day delivery is a real thing! As long as you place your order by 11 am, you’ll get your flowers delivered.
This is my last Valentine’s Day post until next year so I hope y’all have a wonderful holiday. Thanks for reading!
